Nancy is The Knitting Teacher and she teaches knitting in the Greater Cincinnati Area. She has been knitting incessantly since 2004 when she first picked up size 13 needles and a ball of fun fur yarn and proceeded to knit, rip out and reknit a scarf (cast on 15, knit every row, bind off when you are almost out of yarn).  After many projects using all techniques from simple garter stitch to cables, intarsia, fairisle and complicated lace patterns (and learning to fix many mistakes along the way), she began to spread the knitting love by teaching others individually or in small groups.  She is currently enrolled in the Certified Knitting Instructor Correspondence program sponsored by the Craft Yarn Council and a teaching member of The Knitting Guild Association.  Along the way she picked up the related fibery hobbies of weaving and spinning.

Nancy is currently  teaching classes at Silk Road Textiles  and can schedule private or group lessons at your home as well.
